Wele Wednesday (October 2024) competition terms and conditions
- The prize is a £25 Smyths e-voucher.
- To be eligible to enter the competition, participants must be aged 4-8 years old and live in Staffordshire – a parent or guardian will need to upload their photo and interact on Facebook on their behalf.
- To enter the competition the child’s parent or guardian needs to submit a photo commenting on the competition Facebook post by 23:59 on Sunday 3 November 2024.
- The names of those that have submitted an entry 23:59 on Sunday 3 November 2024 will be entered into the competition.
- This competition is limited to one entry per child (a parent/guardian may submit more than one entry on behalf of different children).
- If nobody enters the prize will carry over to a future competition.
- The winner will be announced on Facebook, so parents/guardians will need to check the Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Facebook page for updates. The parent/guardian will then need to provide an email address so that we can send the e-voucher prize.
- The prize stated is non-transferable and there will be no cash or other substitution. However, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service reserve the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value in the event of the above prize being unavailable for any reason.
- By entering into the competition, you give permission for Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service to use your competition entry and first name in Service publicity, both electronically or paper based, unless otherwise ‘opting out’ in writing.
- Employees and volunteers of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service (including Shared Services staff working for both Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and Staffordshire Police) are excluded from the competition.
- By entering, each contestant agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions.
- Should the winner not acknowledge receipt of their win within seven days of receiving notice that they have won the competition, we reserve the right to redraw or not fulfil the prize.
- In the event that the promoter believes that an entry contravenes these terms and conditions it reserves the right to delete the entry at its absolute and sole discretion.
